Driver fatally hits pedestrian on Dale Mabry Hwy in Tampa

TAMPA, FL – A pedestrian’s life was claimed upon getting struck by a driver on the southbound lanes of Dale Mabry Highway before 6 a.m. Tuesday.

WTSP said the person was hit by the vehicle near West El Prado Boulevard and West Euclid Avenue. First responders conducted life-saving measures. Nonetheless, the victim succumbed to fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene. It is unclear if the motorist will face charges.
