Driver crashes, damages Lauderhill restaurant
LAUDERHILL, FL – A Lauderhill restaurant was left damaged, and a driver suffered minor wounds after crashing into the establishment on Sunday.
Police told WSVN that this solo car crash happened at the corner of West Commercial Boulevard and Northwest 77th Avenue. The driver of the black Toyota was sent to a hospital for treatment of his wounds.
Fortunately, no one inside the restaurant was harmed. However, the front end of the business sustained some damage, and the chairs and tables inside were left totaled. As a result, restaurant owners had to close their doors on Sunday. There has been no official word on when it will reopen, nor has there been any indication of pending charges.
