3 hospitalized after 8-vehicle crash in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, FL – Three people were sent to the hospital after an 8-vehicle collision at the northbound I-95 and University Boulevard Thursday morning.
The three injured people suffered non-life-threatening injuries, First Coast News revealed.
The impact of the collision led to one person getting trapped, and they appeared to have been extricated by first responders.
Just before 8:45 a.m., officials put in effect two lane closures, which reduced traffic flow to one lane. No official word was provided regarding when all lanes reopened nor the circumstances leading up to this collision.
