Male pedestrian, 59, killed in crash with 2 cars in New Port Richey
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL – A 59-year-old man crossing the FL-52 and Paradise Pointe Way junction lost his life after he was hit by two cars Sunday.
The collision was first reported around 7:15 p.m. when a Kia Sorento, driven by a 42-year-old woman from Hudson, struck the man first, WFLA reported. A short time later, a Toyota Sienna motorist — a 72-year-old woman from New Port Richey — hit the unidentified pedestrian.
The man succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene, while the drivers were unharmed.
It is unclear who had the right of way and if the drivers will be charged or cited.
