Left-turn crash with dump truck claims life of 41-year-old woman
NORTH TAMPA, FL – A 41-year-old woman died after her driver turned left in front of a garbage truck and then collided with it at a North Tampa junction Friday.
This collision happened when a 19-year-old woman, who operated a Toyota Corolla, turned onto Sinclair Hills Road and then hit the dump truck driver traveling south on Nebraska Avenue, WTSP reported.
The 19-year-old young woman appeared to have been unharmed, while her passenger — the 41-year-old woman — was in serious condition and sent to a hospital where she later succumbed to fatal wounds.
The truck driver — a 46-year-old man from Gibsonton — also appeared to have been uninjured.
