Driver escapes injury after crashing into Fort Myers bank

FORT MYERS, FL – A driver was unharmed when their car crashed into the Truist Bank located at 6890 Daniels Parkway Thursday.

NBC-2 photos show a knocked-off door and damage to a front window.

Officials have not yet provided details regarding the events leading up to this collision.

The bank is not closed. However, customers are advised to use an alternative door when they come in.
