Pickup truck, bus crash in Jacksonville claims life of 38-year-old man

JACKSONVILLE, FL – A 38-year-old man from Folkston, Georgia, died after the right side of his pickup truck was hit by a JTA bus turning left at a junction Thursday.

This collision happened at 5:45 a.m. at the Old Kings Road and New Kings Road junction, First Coast News reported. The Georgia man succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene, while a bus passenger — a 40-year-old man — was taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
