News: Impaired motorcyclist causes fatal Hillsborough Co. crash
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – A motorcycle operator was suspected to be impaired when he crashed into a guardrail, claiming the life of his passenger, a 29-year-old woman.
This single-vehicle collision happened before 4:30 a.m. Saturday at the northbound I-275 and eastbound I-4 interchange, according to ABC Action News. First responders rushed the woman to a hospital, where she later died. It is unclear what kind of relationship she had with the motorcycle operator, who was identified as 37-year-old Jonathon Wing.
Wing sustained minor wounds. Florida Highway Patrol confirmed he was intoxicated and arrested him for DUI manslaughter.
