Tanker truck rollover wreck reported in North Fort Myers 

NORTH FORT MYERS, FL – A driver of a gas tanker attempted to overcorrect and lost control of the vehicle, leaving it to roll over and land on its side Friday. 

This collision happened at the Slater Road and Shelby Lane intersection, NBC-2 reported. The motorist was hospitalized for minor wounds. Authorities said no hazardous materials spilled onto the road. 

Lee County deputies shut down the junction to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation process.
