4 mobile homes destroyed, 3 killed in Clearwater fiery plane crash
CLEARWATER, FL – Three people were killed, and four mobile homes were damaged after a small plane crashed into a mobile park complex and then caught on fire Thursday.
This collision happened before 7:30 p.m. in the area of U.S. Highway 19, WTSP reported. One person sustained unspecified wounds and refused to be taken to a hospital.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have launched an investigation. Authorities have not released the victims’ names at this time. However, they did confirm that it was a pilot and two people from a mobile home who succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.
