Occupants unharmed in Miami fire truck, pickup truck collision
MIAMI, FL – The drivers and occupants of a pickup truck and Miami fire truck escaped injuries after their vehicles collided in the Allapattah district Thursday.
WSVN said this collision took place in the afternoon at Northwest 20th Street and Northwest 12th Avenue. While officials said no one was injured, it appears first responders took two people to the hospital. While officials did not state why the people were transported, it may have been due to possible precautionary measures.
Crews initiated some temporary closures and used “speedy dry” as a tool to soak up the oil or transmission fluids that spilled onto the road.
