1 injured in multi-auto wreck along FLL Airport
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – First responders transported a person to a hospital after a multi-vehicle wreck along Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) Airport Monday.
This collision occurred around 6 a.m. near Griffin Road and I-95 and involved a vehicle, motorcycle, and a Broward Tri-Rail bus, according to NBC Miami.
Very little information about the crash is available. However, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said that the impact of the collision led a motorcycle to get trapped underneath the bus’ front bumper. The person who was taken to an area medical facility is recovering from life-threatening wounds.
Authorities shut down the northbound I-95 ramp and have not specified the exact cause of this crash at this time.
