Hit-and-run driver arrested for Tampa moped crash that killed man
TAMPA, FL – A 38-year-old man driving a 2007 Dodge Charger was arrested after fatally rear-ending a moped operator and then fleeing the scene Friday.
This collision happened before 4 a.m. on East Hillsborough Avenue, when both the suspect and moped rider were going east, according to ABC Action News.
The moped driver succumbed to fatal wounds and was declared dead at the scene. The Dodge Charger, Nicholas Harrison Jr., turned himself in and booked into the Orient Road Jail.
