Motorcyclist seriously hurt in Belmont Heights crash

TAMPA, FL – A driver of a vehicle struck a motorcycle in the Belmont Heights neighborhood, leading the motorcyclist to fall off their bike and suffer serious injuries Sunday.

ABC Action News said this collision happened after 6:30 p.m. at North 22nd Street and East Chelsea Street. Tampa Police did not provide details surrounding the events that led to this crash but noted the motorcyclist sustained serious damage.

Police did issue lane closures but have reopened all lanes since.
