At least 1 seriously hurt in crash under I-4 overpass in Tampa

TAMPA, FL – At least one person suffered serious injuries in a collision that involved at least two vehicles on Columbus Drive under the I-4 overpass Sunday.

This crash was reported before 3:15 a.m., WFLA revealed. While the details of this crash are unclear, including the exact cause of this incident and the number of people and vehicles involved, officials did indicate that one vehicle suffered some serious front-end damage.

Tampa Police closed the east and westbound lanes to accommodate the scene clearance process and reopened all lanes since.
