Truck damaged when hit-and-run driver strikes palm tree in Tice

FORT MYERS, FL – A pickup truck sustained significant damage after its driver, who reportedly fled the scene, hit a palm tree in the Tice community Wednesday.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office told NBC-2 that this collision happened after 3 a.m. at Palm Beach Boulevard and Bellair Road.
