Driver fatally hits Michigan man on U.S. 41 in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A 28-year-old man from Michigan succumbed to deadly injuries at the scene after walking across U.S. 41 North and getting hit by a Hyundai Elantra Thursday.
This collision happened after 1 a.m., according to WTSP. Florida Highway Patrol, who responded to the scene, said the Hyundai driver, a 23-year-old woman from Land O’Lakes, was hospitalized for minor, non-life-threatening wounds.
Troopers have not released other information concerning the events leading up to this crash.
