SUV-scooter collision claims life of 12-year-old child in Fort Myers
SOUTH FORT MYERS, FL – A 12-year-old child lost their life following a collision involving a motorized scooter and SUV Tuesday, NBC-2 reported.
This crash happened before 4 p.m. at Crystal Drive and Fordham Street. Florida Highway Patrol, who responded to the scene, shut down the area and have not announced any reopening of lanes.
FHP did not specify if the child was an SUV passenger, a scooter passenger, or a pedestrian.
