Police investigate semi, van collision in Lehigh Acres

LEHIGH ACRES, FL – Police are investigating the circumstances behind a crash involving a semi-truck and a van that happened in the Olympia Pointe area Tuesday.

This collision happened sometime in the morning at the SR-82 and Lee Boulevard intersection, according to NBC-2.

It appeared police closed the intersection temporarily to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation process. All lanes have reopened since.

No additional information, including whether anyone was injured, was reported.
