Driver passes out, causing Jacksonville crash that damages nail salon
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A female driver was said to have passed out, which led her to crash into the Nail Pro salon, damaging the building Sunday.
News4Jax said this single-vehicle collision happened on 103rd Street at the Oak Hill Village Plaza when the woman had hit a curb before plowing into the establishment. The photo indicated that she had shattered those windows and had nearly knocked off the front door.
No one was inside the building then, although the owners told reporters they were “shocked by what occurred.”
In addition, no one, including the driver, was injured, although one man came pretty close when he was almost struck by the vehicle. The news team said he was getting ice from Publix and had to jump out of the way to avoid getting hit
Authorities also confirmed that the driver was cited.
