Deputy, civilian driver hospitalized after 2-auto crash in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, FL – A driver of an SUV and an off-duty Collier County deputy driving an unspecified vehicle were both sent to a local hospital after their vehicles collided Monday.

This collision occurred at the Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard and Flint Drive intersection, according to WINK News. The impact of this crash led both drivers to suffer non-life-threatening wounds.

Florida Highway Patrol, who is taking the lead on this investigation, has not commented on the events leading up to this crash or said when the collision occurred.
