FHP investigates hit-and-run on northbound I-75 in SE Fort Myers
FORT MYERS, FL – A hit-and-run collision was reported Friday morning on Interstate 75 in southeast Fort Myers, according to NBC-2.
The incident occurred on the northbound lanes near Daniels Parkway (mile marker 130), and was first reported at about 7:00 a.m.
While the circumstances of the event have not been specified, Florida Highway Patrol troopers were on the scene. The outer northbound lane of I-75 was shut down during the emergency response and investigation, which remains ongoing.
Officials have not released any information about the fleeing vehicle or the condition of the victim.
