Trash truck overturns after hitting pickup truck in Lehigh Acres

LEHIGH ACRES, FL – When a red pickup truck and a trash truck collided, it led the garbage truck to overturn and caused damage to the pickup truck’s front bumper Thursday.

This crash occurred in the afternoon along East Sixth Street and Joel Boulevard, WINK News reported. The impact of the rollover caused the truck to land on top of some bushes and hedges in what appears to be a small garden in front of the 7-Eleven store.

Authorities who did respond to the scene confirmed both drivers were unharmed, and the issued lane closures have since been lifted.
