1 hospitalized, 1 killed after pickup truck hits tree in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, FL – One man in his late 20s passed away, while another man was hospitalized after their red Ford pickup truck hit a tree Thursday.
This solo collision occurred before 4 a.m. at the 12000th block of Pinebook Drive South, First Coast News reported. Prior to the truck striking a tree, it went over a culvert, went through a ditch, and rolled over a fence.
The impact had caused one of the men “to be partially ejected and crushed by the vehicle.”
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has not released the identities of these men but speculate that the driver was the person who perished.
