Man, 68, fatally hit by 2 vehicles in Green Cove Springs

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, FL – A 68-year-old male pedestrian gave into fatal injuries after he was hit by a car at northbound U.S. 17 and Lovers Lane Tuesday.

Florida Highway Patrol told News4Jax this collision happened around 7 a.m. They confirmed that both drivers and the car passenger, all Palatka residents, were unharmed and wore seatbelts.

No charges or citations were mentioned.
