Van driver turns left, fatally strikes motorcyclist in Palm Harbor
PALM HARBOR, FL – A driver of a van turning left at the junction of U.S. 19 and Highlands Boulevard struck a motorcycle, resulting in the motorcyclist’s death Thursday.
This collision occurred around 7:40 p.m. on the highway’s southbound lanes, WTSP reports. Florida Highway Patrol said the driver, an 85-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening wounds, while the motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man, was rushed to a hospital where he passed away.
