Car strikes light pole in North Fort Myers, sending 1 to hospital
NORTH FORT MYERS, FL – An occupant traveling inside a moving red car had to go to the hospital upon colliding with a light pole on U.S. 41 near Stockton Street Wednesday.
This collision happened after midnight south of Diplomat Parkway E and north of Pine Island Road, NBC-2 reports. The impact caused the driver to knock down a light pole.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has not commented on the events that led to this crash or said if the hospitalized person was a driver or occupant.
