4 hurt, another critically in 5-auto wreck in Miami

MIAMI, FL – One driver, who was left in critical condition, had to get extricated from their car after a five-vehicle wreck that sent them and four other occupants to a hospital Friday.

This crash happened in the afternoon at Northwest 12th Avenue and Northwest 62nd Street, which is in Liberty Square, according to WSVN. The impact had caused a pole to come tumbling down, and a water break occurred, which was handled by Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center.

All occupants were sent to Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center. Besides the one in critical condition, one is listed in serious condition and three others are in stable condition.

Officers did have to close the area between Northwest 11th and 13th Avenues and between 61st and 63rd to accommodate the scene clearance area.
