1-year-old toddler dies, 5 hurt in rear-end wreck in Seffner
SEFFNER, FL – Three adults and two children sustained non-life-threatening wounds, while a one-year-old child passed away in a rear-end collision on I-4 Friday.
This crash happened before 1:30 a.m. when a Toyota RAV4 was rear-ended by a Jeep Cherokee, WFLA reports.
Florida Highway Patrol identified the Toyota driver as a 30-year-old woman from Dundee, the Jeep driver as a 21-year-old woman from Englewood, and the adult Toyota passenger as a 34-year-old woman whose place of residency was not revealed. Ambulance personnel took those women along with the two children, a 6-year-old girl, a 3-year-old boy, and a 1-year-old child, to a hospital. There, the 1-year-old toddler died while the surviving parties were recovering.
