Car fire extinguished in I-95 collision in Miami
MIAMI, FL – Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews were able to extinguish the flames from a vehicle that resulted from an I-95 crash that also sent two people to a hospital Tuesday.
NBC Miami said this multi-vehicle collision occurred on the northbound express lanes of the interstate near Northwest 135th Street.
Medics issued the two hospitalized victims trauma alerts but have not been able to comment on the severity of their wounds or specify their current physical conditions.
Officials shut down all northbound lanes temporarily to make room for scene clearance and investigation procedures.
Since the investigation is in its early stages, authorities have not been able to confirm the exact cause of this crash.
