Alleged DUI driver fatally hits pedestrian in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A pedestrian was rushed to hospital where they died after they were struck by a pickup truck driver who was said to have been intoxicated Monday.
ABC Action News said this collision happened before 3 a.m. on East Adamo Drive. The driver, identified as 23-year-old Mical Scott, was operating a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck.
Tampa Police arrested Scott for DUI and booked him into Falkenburg Road Jail.
Police blocked East Adamo Drive for several hours before reopening all lanes before 7 a.m.
