At least 1 left injured after rollover dump truck wreck on I-95 in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, FL – Injuries were reported after a dump truck overturned Tuesday on Interstate 95 in southeast Jacksonville, according to Action News Jax.
The rollover occurred on the northbound lanes of I-95 at Racetrack Road and was first reported on St. Johns County Fire Rescue’s Facebook page shortly after 3:00 p.m.
Officials did not immediately say how the wreck occurred or confirm the number of those injured, but the center and left lanes were shut down during the response.
Motorists were asked to avoid the scene, as major delays were anticipated in the area.
No other vehicles appear to have been involved.
