At least 1 seriously hurt in Jacksonville multi-vehicle collision

JACKSONVILLE, FL – At least one person suffered serious injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on J. Turner Butler Boulevard East Tuesday morning. 

Upon arrival, the Florida Department of Transportation shut down the right lane on JTB before San Pablo Road for the standard scene clearance procedure, First Coast News reports. 

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department was among the primary first responders. As it stands, they have not released a formal statement regarding the exact cause of this crash, confirming the number of wounded/hospitalized individuals and vehicles involved.
