At least one life claimed in Tampa wreck with utility pole

TAMPA, FL – At least one person lost their life after a driver crashed into a utility pole on East Busch Boulevard Wednesday.

Tampa Police told ABC Action News that the impact of the collision led to several power lines coming down and resulted in sustained injuries for at least one other person.

It is not exactly clear if impairment, distracted driving, or other factors played a role in this crash. In addition, officials did not reveal how many people were involved.
