Albert Yonfa Jr. began his carrier as a defense attorney for large insurance carriers. After learning how insurance companies evaluated and defended cases, he took that knowledge and experience to the plaintiff’s side. He has a philosophy of having close engagement with clients and a desire to provide more personalized service. The full spectrum of Mr. Yonfa’s experience spanning the representation of defendants and plaintiffs, coupled with his philosophy of providing excellent service with open communication has been a tremendously successful mix.

Born and raised in Orlando, Mr. Yonfa completed his undergraduate studies at Stetson University in Deland earning his degree in Business Management, then attending law school at St. Thomas University in Miami. His wife, Dr. Carolyn Yonfa is also an Orlando native and she takes great pride practicing in Central Florida working to better lives in the community they both love.

Mr. Yonfa has been quoted in newspapers across the globe for his work on national headline cases, from the New York Times and The Orlando Sentinel, to news outlets in England, Australia, and points beyond. He has been interviewed on television regarding his work on behalf of his clients by CNN, NBC, CBS, Telemundo, Fox, Univision, ABC, MSNBC and other stations and he provides expert legal analysis on cases of interest for local television stations. He has settled multiple million-dollar cases, specializing in representing injured clients due to the actions of individuals, companies, schools and government entities.

Having been recognized by his peers for his outstanding work and commitment to the spirit of the legal profession, his knowledge of the law, ethics, and advocacy on behalf of his clients has allowed him to stand out among other attorneys in the field. Mr. Yonfa was selected to Florida’s list of Rising Stars for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. He has been featured in Orlando Style Magazine as part of Orlando’s Legal Elite and recognized as a top-rated attorney practicing in Central Florida.

Mr. Yonfa spends all of his free time with his children Stella and Albert III. Whether it is playing, reading, crafting, dancing, or praying, Stella and Albert are his pride and joy.
