Benjamin is a seasoned trial veteran, with nearly fifty trials to verdict as lead counsel. He began his career defending the wrongfully accused, in cases from DUIs to homicides, and then switched to helping injured people obtain full justice in the personal injury arena. After a half decade at Morgan & Morgan, he joined The Pendas Law Firm where he fights for clients statewide.
While working as a young criminal defense attorney, Benjamin also filed multiple writs of certiorari that led to a written appellate decision helping truant children throughout Florida (See. S.G. v Vurro, 77 So.3d 897 Fla 2d DCA 2012). He also successfully argued for multiple judgments of acquittal, and not guilty verdicts, even when facing minimum mandatory sentences in the decades.
He then spent the better part of a decade honing his skills in the personal injury areas of practice, and has been victorious in securing multiple plaintiff verdicts throughout Florida.
When he’s not helping people fight massive for-profit insurance companies, he enjoys nature treks and playing chess.
