ATV crashes into Miami canal, claiming woman’s life
MIAMI, FL – One woman lost her life following a solo ATV collision that occurred in the area of Southwest 112th Street and Southwest 157th Avenue Thursday.
Miami-Dade police told NBC Miami that the crash unfolded when one woman lost control of the ATV, which caused it to crash into the canal.
One woman from the ATV was able to save herself, while a diver had to search for the other lady.
After the second woman was found, an ambulance rushed her to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, where she was later succumbed to fatal wounds.
Police launched an investigation but have not released other details at this time, including the identities of the two women, or provided an update on the woman who survived.
