Authorities respond to fatal crash on Semoran Blvd near MCO in Orlando

ORLANDO, FL – At least one person died Thursday morning as a result of a collision on Semoran Boulevard in southeast Orlando, according to WESH.

The wreck occurred at the intersection with Hoffner Avenue, near Orlando International Airport. Orlando Police had initially announced that all lanes of Semoran Boulevard would be shut down in the area until 8:00 a.m. However, the scene appeared to clear from the roadway nearly an hour ahead of schedule.

As of this writing, no information about the involved parties or the cause of the crash has been disclosed.

An investigation remains open and ongoing.
