Auto fire blocks 2 left lanes on I-95 South in North Miami

NORTH MIAMI, FL – A vehicle caught on fire on I-95 South near Northwest 135th Street Friday, leading to the closure of two left lanes, WSVN reported.

First responders arrived at the scene after 8 a.m. and also blocked off the express lanes to accommodate firefighters as they worked to extinguish the flames.

Officials have not yet said if the fire was caused by a crash or mechanical issues, specified the kind of vehicle that caught on fire, listed the occupants involved, or said if anyone was injured.
