Auto-scooter collision in Hunter Creek claims man’s life
HUNTER’S CREEK, FL – A scooter rider tried to turn right at the Town Loop Boulevard and Town Center Boulevard and collided with a vehicle, resulting in his death Sunday.
This crash happened before 8 a.m. Florida Highway Patrol told Click Orlando that the Jiajue scooter operator, a 74-year-old man, was going north on Town Loop Boulevard while the driver of the Honda CR-V was going east on Town Center when their vehicles collided.
First responders took the scooter rider, SUV driver — a 44-year-old woman from Kissimmee —and the three passengers with her to a hospital. There, the 74-year-old man died while the Honda occupants were being treated for minor wounds.
