Boy, 12, dies two days after Lehigh Acres car-pedestrian crash
LEHIGH ACRES, FL – A pedestrian succumbed to fatal injuries two days after getting struck by a car in Lehigh Acres Friday.
At approximately ten minutes before 10 p.m., the 12-year-old boy tried to cross the westbound lanes of Lee Boulevard when he was hit by an oncoming car, NBC-2 revealed.
It is unclear who had the right of way and if the driver will face charges. The 12-year-old boy was hospitalized and later died on Sunday, March 19th.
