Car driver fatally strikes motorcyclist in Miami

MIAMI, FL – A driver of a vehicle struck a motorcycle on SR 112, causing the male motorcyclist to drift off the road and crash into some railroad tracks, leading to the man’s death.

This collision happened before 6:15 p.m. Monday near the Miami International Airport, according to CBS News. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, who were among the first responders, declared the man dead at the scene.

Miami-Dade Police had to temporarily close Northwest 25th Street and Northwest 42nd Avenue to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation process.
