Car rear-ends motorcycle in Jacksonville, claiming biker’s life
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A man operating a vintage motorcycle on Wonderwood Drive was rear-ended by a Toyota Corolla, which led to his death Saturday.
Prior to the male motorcyclist succumbing to fatal wounds, First Coast News said, he was ejected from his bike.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department declared the biker dead at the scene and said the Toyota motorist stayed at the crash site and cooperated with investigators. After arriving, detectives closed the intersection of Wonderwood Drive and Girvin Road for the standard investigation procedure.
