Car strikes Plant High School bleachers, sending woman to hospital
TAMPA, FL – One sedan was thrust into the Plant High School outside bleachers after colliding with another vehicle, which also ended in a woman getting sent to a hospital Wednesday.
FOX 13 News said this collision took place around 1 p.m. in the area of the 2400th block of South Himes Avenue. The principal of the school, Heather Holloway, said one female student who was driving her vehicle was also struck during the collision. Holloway said she was okay but did not specify if she was sent to the hospital.
As for the hospitalized woman, she appears to be in stable condition. Tampa police are investigating the details behind this collision and have not released additional information at this time.
