Child hit by SUV in Lehigh Acres while waiting for school bus

LEHIGH ACRES, FL – An elementary school student was hit by an SUV at the intersection of Barth Street and Adeline Avenue Thursday.

The crash happened as the SUV struck the 8-year-old child as he or she was waiting to board the school bus, according to NBC-2.

A family member transported the child to a hospital with minor injuries.
