Collision near NAS Jax Base sends 1 to hospital

JACKSONVILLE, FL – One person was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious wounds on Roosevelt Boulevard near Avent Drive Monday.

Upon arrival, Jacksonville deputies closed northbound Roosevelt Boulevard to accommodate the scene clearance process and reopened all lanes before 2 p.m., according to First Coast News.
