Crash with entrapment in Miami claims pedestrian’s life
MIAMI, FL – A pedestrian was hit by a car and then, along with three others trapped in that vehicle, extricated and later sent to a hospital, where they died Sunday.
This collision was reported before 4:30 a.m., according to WSVN. The specific location was not disclosed. First responders used the Jaws of Life method to extricate the pedestrian and the three other individuals.
All were transported to Ryder Hospital Trauma Center. The pedestrian, whose name and identity were not released, succumbed to fatal wounds there.
First responders have not provided updates regarding the conditions of the other injured people or confirmed the events leading up to this crash.
