Cyclist fatally hit by fleeing driver in Wimauma
WIMAUMA, FL – A 19-year-old man from Guatemala was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died after he was struck by a driver who fled the scene Saturday.
This collision happened before 8:30 p.m. on SR 674 East west of 4th Street, according to ABC Action News. Florida Highway Patrol said the driver, operating a red Dodge Charger with black rims, had left behind some vehicle parts.
