Driver cited after crashing into San Carlos Park pole, LCSO says
SAN CARLOS PARK, FL – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office cited the driver of a white sedan for crashing into a parking awning pole at an apartment complex Friday.
This solo collision occurred around 1 a.m. along Porto Nuevo Drive off Three Oaks Parkway, according to NBC-2. Due to the risk of structural integrity, officials wrapped caution tape around the poles that supported the awning.
Deputies did not say if the motorist was spared from physical harm but did say their vehicle was damaged in this crash.
