Driver dead after solo collision in Northeast Tampa
NORTHEAST TAMPA, FL – A driver, the sole occupant of his vehicle, was rushed to a hospital where he died after a single-automobile collision Monday.
Tampa Police told WFLA this crash occurred around 6 a.m. in the 6100th block of North 22nd Street. After arriving, crews shut down North 22nd between East Hanna Avenue and East Idlewild Avenue to accommodate the standard scene clearance procedure. During these closures, officers asked motorists to seek alternative routes.
